Its an unexpected and disarming moment that reframes everything thats come before but it takes awhileto get there.
This wasnt the tightest episode the series has delivered.
Which isnt to say it wasnt largely satisfying, on both levels.
Shes teaching at a college.
Hes heading up security.
When she drops by her class, she seems genuinely happy to see him, and he her.
Theyve found some kind of equilibrium after all those troubled years.
Now Wayne agrees to walk away for the good of his family.

Oh, right: theres also the mystery.
Here, they finally find their solution.
Except maybe she didnt.
Its an odd but bittersweet and lovely moment.
Hes worked so hard and suffered so much only to fail in the final moment.
But what would he get out of knowing she was alive?
What would she get out of being found?
Its almosttoohappy an ending, like the end ofBrazil.
Its all strangely … nice.
Even if you could piece together the seasons mystery, who saw that coming?
So he gives it to Henry, who tucks in his pocket and … does what?

Hes quite good inGreen Book, too.
