Its a bit bewildering how much of the new season ofStar Trek: DiscoveryIve spent openly sobbing.
Another part of it is relief that, finally,Discoverymight not just be good, but trulygreat.

At first, Commissioner Voss is overwhelmed with gratitude to have a joined Trill returned to them.
Viable hosts have now dwindled, while their newly matured symbionts languish unjoined in their ancestral pools.
