He doesnt want to touch things; he wants to watch them.
He doesnt want to eat food; he wants to watch it being eaten.

Villanelle says she doesnt know, and this at least seems honest.

This seems unlikely, given how openly and dramatically unstable they make each other.
Carolyn asks Eve three questions, first about Villanelles behavior and then about Eve herself: Any escalation?
The answers are yes, yes, and yes on both counts.
Shes not a stupid woman, so she has to know theyre throwing matches at a powder keg.
She isnt ready to quit this addiction, or the way it makes her feel.
