Jas Waters, a television writer onThis Is UsandKidding,has died at the age of 39.
In our time together, Jas has left her mark on us and ALL over the show.
She was a brilliant storyteller and a force of nature.
The cause of death is unknown.
Prior to writing for television, Waters had been a hip-hop journalist, writinga column forVibethat began in 2012.
In 2013 Waters co-starred in the VH1 reality seriesThe Gossip Gameas JasFly.
I could feel her warmth through the phone.
Over the years, I got to know & appreciate her even more.
She was so generous, beautiful and REAL.
Incredibly shocked and saddened to have just receive this news.
Blessed Light, fly with the angels.
