Rafael and Jane are back together!
They are back together and I have many, many feelings about it.
Lets start at the end: The final song-and-dance number is delightful.
its actually the same musical number as the one performed by a whole class of first-graders!
The musical number also makes a lot of sense forJaneat this moment in its last season.
Jane has been driven apart from Rafael since the first episode.
She loves him, something shes always maintained even in the moments when she was wildly confused about Michael.
When Rafael nixes things with Julie, its because hes realized that the person he wants is Jane.
It needs to communicate that this is a big, deep sigh of finally!
Finally these two have figured it out!
If ever there was a time for a grand musical statement, this is it.
But by the way, poor Julie.
Never has a character been more doomed from the start.
Go make snarky GIFs about someone else, Julie!
Im happy that Jane and Rafael are presumably going to be together now.
But Ive been burned by them so many times!
Possibly in the form of a couples counseling session.
But Im mostly interested in seeing how this story plays out in the aftermath of that.
Mateo is asking for more help than hes been getting.
Its good that Jane is going to give it to him.
She has long struggled to find a purpose.
It feels right forJaneto loop back to this story now that Xos been declared cancer-free.
But sadly, Laird is not the only person doing his job under false pretenses.
As it turns out, Krishna didnotcome back to work for Petra just because she wanted her job back.
Krishnas working with Milos, and theyre presumably going to take the hotel back together!
Narrator: He does.
There is no doubt about Rogelio.
Rogelio is lovingevery dang minute.
