By itself, Disney+ wont be a Netflix killer but then again, its not supposed to be.

Its not that Disney doesnt consider itself in competition with the giant that is Netflix.

It did, however, also leave a number of blanks unfilled.

We dont know how it plans to roll out its new series (all at once?

), or how quickly it will scale up its development roster beyond year one.

There were snippets shown from a handful of shows and movies, but not a single actual trailer.

It was, quite frankly, boring.

(Okay, so the Marvel page-flip animation pops up when you hover over the Marvel tile.

So far, theres no sign of that with Disney+.

Disneys marketing and cross-promotion machines promise to be the companys big advantage in the streaming wars.
