(She had sex with Stanley, and clearly wasnt attracted to him.
Still, in theory, she could be bisexual.)
Thats even more true when you look at the show more broadly.
Here, its tinged with Syds desire and a palpable romantic energy.
This is also true when looking at the series in the context of other Hughes films.
But her capacity to love another young woman?
This series makes it very clear that everyone should be okay with that.
