Its narration-heavy, interspersed with active and retired police officers relevant to the case.

The surreal nature of that production is fairly easy to pin down.

Break in the Caseis an altogether different beast, but the fundamental complication is pretty much the same.

Again, it’s possible for you to broadly see the outlines of that same Why the hell not?

Thats not listening, and it doesnt allow the community to be truly engaged.

Theres something distinctly absurd about this state of affairs.

Sure, law-enforcement agencies have every right to use any means of communication to engage with the public.

Its not only their right, its part of the job.

But thehowof it all matters.

At worst, its just crude propaganda.
