Light spoilers ahead forAvengers: Endgame.
First of all, thats very relatable; it happens to me on dates all the time.
Throw up the banners!
Bring out the pride parade!
Time to celebrate, uh, gay Mets guy!
Joe, oneof the two Russo brotherswho directedEndgame, plays the gay character himself.
(Some of themmight be queer, sure, but we havent heard about it!)
And its impressive that Marvel is seemingly committed to continuing to expand and diversify its collection of heroes.
(Chloe ZhaosEternals, for instance, is rumored rumored!
to be looking to casta gay Asian lead.)
But being impressed and being satisfied are two different things.
Especially when, most of all, I feel tired.
Its exhausting to celebrate thatsteps are being made.
Its exhausting to cheer on the fact thatchanges are coming.
Anyway, congrats to the gay Mets guy on his date.
